Environmental protection and ecological civilization construction have entered a new stage of development. Young scholars play a critical role in addressing global environmental challenges and achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The European Chinese Association of Eco-Environmental Sciences (ECAEE) is committed to building a platform for exchange and collaboration among young Chinese scholars engaged in ecological and environmental research in Europe. It fosters an open, diverse, and intellectually stimulating academic atmosphere, inspiring enthusiasm for theoretical innovation and practical exploration while deepening cooperation and discussion on cutting-edge ecological and environmental issues in the new era. On January 31, 2026, the association will host the fourth "European Chinese Youth Scholars Forum on Eco- Environment." This forum will bring together young scholars from European countries, including early-career faculty members, Humboldt Fellows from Germany, EU Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellows, and postdoctoral researchers, focusing on cutting-edge fields such as digital ecology and environmental health.
The forum aims to further promote interdisciplinary exchanges and cooperation among young Chinese scholars worldwide, providing innovative ideas and practical pathways for achieving the SDGs, and jointly addressing global ecological and environmental challenges. This forum will award one Best Presentation Prize (5,000 RMB).
