The 2nd Europe-China Eco-Environmental Forum for Young Schol

We are entering a new phase in environmental protection and ecological civilization, young researchers play a crucial role in tackling these global challenges. The European Chinese Association for Eco-Environment (ECAEE) aims to offer a platform to foster communication and cooperation among young Chinese scholars working in Europe, particularly in the field of Environmental Science. We strive to create an open and diverse atmosphere to encourage exchange of ideas, theoretical exploration, empirical innovation, and cooperation to address ecological and environmental issues in the context of the new development paradigm and the new era.

On August 25- 26, ECAEE will host the second "Europe-China Eco-Environmental Forum for Young Scholars". The Forum will be held both online (via Tencent Live) and in person at the Catholic University of Leuven (Belgium). All speakers are young Chinese scholars working in Europe, including junior faculties, Humboldt scholars, Marie-Curie scholars, and postdoctoral researchers. The forum will focus on five themes: Water Treatment and Recovery; Atmospheric Chemistry and Climate Change; Environmental Microbiology and Molecular Ecology; Environmental Health and Toxicology; Carbon Neutrality and Sustainable Development.
