Special Topic on Watershed Management & Carbon Neutrality

We are entering a new phase in environmental protection and ecological civilization, where young researchers play a crucial role in addressing these global challenges. The European Chinese Association for Eco-Environment (ECAEE) aims to provide a platform for fostering communication and collaboration among young Chinese scholars studying and working in Europe, especially in Environmental Science. Our goal is to cultivate an open and diverse atmosphere that encourages the exchange of ideas, theoretical exploration, empirical innovation, and cooperation. Together, we aim to tackle ecological and environmental issues within the framework of the new development paradigm and era.

The third "Europe China Eco-Environmental Forum for Young Scholars - Watershed Management & Carbon Neutrality" is scheduled to be held on December 7th, 2024, organized by the ECAEE in collaboration with the School of Resources & Environment, Nanchang University. The event will be conducted both online (via Tencent Meeting) and in-person, with the in-person venue located at the School of Resources & Environment, Nanchang University. Our speakers include scholars working in Europe and Australia, including renowned professors, junior faculties, Humboldt fellow, Marie-Curie fellow, and postdoctoral researchers. The forum focuses on four following themes: Climate change and low-carbon solution, Green ecology and environmental health, Water treatment and resource utilization, and Detection and control of emerging contaminants.
